As part of this work, partners are preparing sector-specific training curricula for the COOPSKILLS Reskilling Labs. The training will cover technical, digital, green and transversal skills, while keeping a strong practical focus. Participants will have opportunities to work with examples and situations linked to their sector and everyday working life.
Partners are also developing a Counselling and Mentoring Manual to support participants during the training. The mentoring process will help learners better understand the skills they already have, identify what they would like to improve and consider their next steps in learning or employment.
Gamification will add another practical dimension to the training. Through interactive educational games, learners will face workplace-based situations, make decisions and see how different choices can lead to different outcomes. This will give them an opportunity to use what they have learned in a more engaging and interactive way.
These three elements – training, mentoring and gamification – will work together to provide practical support for adults taking part in the COOPSKILLS Reskilling Labs. The resources will be adapted to the different sectors and local contexts in Cyprus, Greece, Lithuania and Spain.
